DataSphere is a live map of what is happening around you. It collects public data from many sources, keeps a recent history, and shows everything on one map. A time slider lets you go back a few hours or days and see how things changed.
The map currently shows six kinds of information:

| Wildfires | Active fires spotted by satellites | every 15 minutes |
| Earthquakes | Recent quakes and their strength | every 15 minutes |
| News | Geopolitical events placed on the map | every 15 minutes |
| Weather | Rain radar | every 10 minutes |
You pick a home location and a radius for each layer. When something important happens nearby, for example a strong earthquake or a fire close to home, DataSphere sends a notification to your phone.
I built it because I wanted a single screen for this kind of information instead of checking five different websites. It runs on my own server and is not tied to any commercial service. A live instance runs at datasphere.cgeosoft.com.
